Happy Spring Virtual Learning Academy!  Tomorrow marks another special attendance day where we need to report our attendance data to the state. Thank you in advance for signing the Learning Period #7 log by 10 am tomorrow, March 22nd, and ensuring all work is submitted for the learning period. We appreciate your extra effort to help us meet this important deadline. Please note the important information below and do not hesitate to email virtualacademy@sageoak.education with any questions. Important Upcoming Dates Friday, March 22nd: End of Learning Period 8 & Special Attendance Day Thursday, March 28th: Ontario Clippers field trip Friday, March 29th: Summer Bridge workbook request deadline April 1st-5th: Spring Break April 8th: Oakschool quarter 4 begins IMPORTANT Enrollment Update In order to be enrolled for the 24-25 school year you need to attend a master agreement meeting. If you have not done so already, ensure you attend a meeting as soon as possible in order for us to determine our enrollment for next year by registering for a time below. If you have more than one child in the VLA, please let your teachers know as you only need to attend one class meeting with all enrolling students. Ms. Wallace is an Automotive Technician. She was inspired to go into the Manufacturing and Building Trades because her childhood was spent working on cars alongside her grandfather.A lifelong learner, Ms. Wallace continues to use her skills, like mechanical repair and welding, to pursue her interests in automotive repair. She will be here to share her journey into this industry and answer any questions you have! This is a complimentary, self-paced online program featuring daily pre-recorded video lessons aimed at keeping your student’s brain sharp over the summer break.Students will watch short introductory video lessons, play online learning games, and complete workbook pages that review the concepts of the previous grade level and prepare them for the next grade level.
