Happy First Week of School Virtual Learning Academy! We had an incredible time at the social with all of you and what a great first week of school! We know there is always a learning curve as we adjust to new processes and procedures, so thank you for supporting your students so well as they acclimate to a new year. Please note, that our school will be closed and there will be no teacher office hours on Monday, September 2nd in observance of Labor Day.  Please note the important information below, and do not hesitate to email virtualacademy@sageoak.education with any questions. We are here for you! ⏰ Important Upcoming Dates August 28th-September 4th: field trip sign ups Monday, September 2nd: Labor Day holiday September 9-27th: Parent Conferences Friday, September 20th: all-school field trip to Huntington Beach to serve and clean the beach for California Coastal Day! Explore available field trips by using our 2024-25 VLA Field Trip Planning Document with direct links to each field trip. 🌟Theme of the Month: Service Our theme for the first month of school is service. It is one of our core values at Sage Oak. We strive to serve those around us in our home, school, and community. Students will be nominated for their service at our first assembly on Wednesday, September 25th and we will have a superhero themed dress-up day! We will also participate in a school wide-service project in September at Huntington Beach in honor of California Coastal Day.
