It’s Teacher Appreciation Week! We are so grateful for all of our Education Advisors and the expertise and support they provide. Consider reaching out to thank a teacher who has motivated or helped you this year! —————————————————————————————————— Spring iReady Testing – Friday, May 10th to Friday, May 17th: All students – except 12th graders – will take the spring iReady starting this Friday through next Friday. Both the math and English assessments must be completed by May 17th – there is no additional time. Proctor Schedule: All 9-11th graders should plan to attend at least 1 test session per day until the tests are complete. See the schedule HERE to plan out when you will attend. There will be no live classes for in-house classes from May 10-May 17th so students can complete the iReadyStudents will need to access their Clever Dashboard in order to take the test. Please ensure you have access before coming to your testing session. Reach out to your EA if you need help. CLOSES FRIDAY Crafton Hills Summer Partner Sections: Enrollment for our Crafton Hills summer partner sections – COUNS 110 – Intro to Career, Education & Life Planning and ENG 101 – Freshman Composition – will close this Friday. Let your EA know if you want to sign up! Enrollment in our Fall Crafton partner sections will remain open for a few more weeks.Current Credit Recovery Courses: If you are currently enrolled in a credit recovery course on Apex, please note that these classes will close June 5th and a final grade issued. Supply Return: If you are a Class of 2024 graduate or will not be returning to Sage Oak in the fall, please remember that all non-consumable materials, curriculum and technology purchased with instructional funds will need to be returned to the school. Check with your EA for a list of supplies and to arrange the return. 23-24 HS Yearbook: We are down to the final weeks to order your Sage Oak 2024 Yearbook! All graduate headshots will be included! Plus when you order, you’ll be able to personalize and design 2 pages of your own! Softcover – $44 / Hardcover – $51 (before taxes). Order here by May 24th.Senior Dedication Page: Parents of graduates – you can include a FREE senior dedication in the yearbook by filling out this form! (Also, be sure you’ve ordered a yearbook!) Class of 2024 Updates Graduation Tickets: Requests for additional tickets is now closed. Due to an overwhelming number of requests, we will not be able to issue all families their desired number of extra seats. Your EA has reached out to ask about any ADA seating needs. Once we hear back from all grads, we will aim to email families this week with the number of tickets we can issue. Thank you for your patience! NEW Grad Webinar #3: If you missed our Grad Webinar last week, you can check out the recording and slides to learn more about cap decorating, tickets, day-of timing and more!Cap & gown decoration: Please check out the school guidelines for decorating your cap and other adornments. Senior Sunset: Let’s celebrate the final rays of your high school days! COLLEGE TOURS TODAY UC Irvine Campus Tour: Thinking about becoming an Anteaters! Join EA chaperones on Tuesday, May 7th at 10am for a campus tour and boba! Student sign up. UCLA Tour + Class Visit: Go Bruins! EA Drew has set up a very special campus tour of UCLA plus an opportunity to tour the Archeology department with the department head AND sit in on a class! Monday, May 20th 9:30am-1pm. Student sign up here. HS EVENTS Koroneburg Renaissance Festival: AllPOs should be submitted for the Koroneburg Renaissance Festival field trip on May 25th 10am-1pm in Corona. Students must submit the sign up form as well. NEW End of Year HS Beach Party Bonfire: Grab your flipflops and join us to celebrate the end of school! Meet at Bolsa Chica State Beach in Huntington Beach on Friday May 31st 3-8:45pm for food, friends and a bonfire! We’ll bring the wood; you bring snacks and s’mores supplies. Sign up here! CalKIDS: California has a new program called that automatically creates college savings accounts for eligible low-income public school students enrolled in 1st through 12th grade! CalKIDS will deposit between $500 to $1,500 in each CalKIDS account, and eligible students will be able to use this money for qualified expenses when they enroll at an eligible education institution.
