Good morning – please see below for important news and updates from the Sage Oak high school department for this week! News & Updates 11th Grader CAASPP Feedback Survey: We value your input! All 11th graders are invited to complete this short 5 questions survey on the CAASPP testing experience. Responses are accepted by text, voice or video. (Code T-P068J if needed) High School iReady Week: The spring iReady will be proctored on Zoom for high school from Friday, May 10th through Friday, May 17th! In preparation, please note: All student will take the spring iReady except current 12th graders who are graduating. (All other early graduates will still need to test)There will be no live classes for in-house courses the week of May 13-17 Four proctor sessions will be offered each day: 9-10:30am, 10:30-12pm, 12-1:30pm and 1:30-3pmStudents should plan to come to at least one test session every day until they finish the iReadyCheck next Tuesday’s Family Updates email for the link to the proctor schedule! Summer School Options: Students looking to get ahead or make up missing credits have a number of summer course options. Catch Up: Students who earned a D or F in a course can make up 1 or 2 semester-long courses this summer through our free, in-house credit recovery. Check with your EA to see if you qualify.Get Ahead: Students looking to get ahead this summer can pay out of pocket take classes at a community college or a transcript-producing program such as Silicon Valley High School or Apex. Then submit the transcript to Sage Oak in the fall for us to add the credit to your transcript! Summer/Fall Community College Courses: Enrollment is open now for both summer and Fall 24 community college courses. If you are interested in taking a course, please be sure to communicate with your EA so they can list it on your MA and fill out the approval survey. Then be sure send in the concurrent enrollment form to highschool@sageoak.education for signature!
