She was inspired to go into the Manufacturing and Building Trades because her childhood was spent working on cars alongside her grandfather. A lifelong learner, Ms. Wallace continues to use her skills, like mechanical repair and welding, to pursue her interests in automotive repair. She will be here to share her journey into this industry and answer any questions you have!Link: https://bit.ly/sageoakstage Passcode: sagestage CLICK HERE  President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) We are about six weeks away from the close of the 2023-24 Presidential Volunteer Service Award window. Our current PVSA window runs from May 1, 2023 until April 30, 2024. We are very proud of the ways our participants are serving their communities. This year our students have written notes of encouragement, collected food, cleaned up beaches, restored habitats, groomed horses, and tended gardens in addition to a variety of other services. So far, our participants have logged over 2,500 hours! This is double the hours our participants logged last year at this time! We are so proud of them and their commitment to serve their communities! We look forward to seeing our students finish strong as they continue to volunteer in these final six weeks! The Walk for Kids is an annual community fundraiser that supports the children and families who rely on the life-changing services and programs provided by the Ronald McDonald House. This fun, family-friendly event calls on volunteers, companies, and donors within their local communities to keep families close when they need it the most. CLICK HERE  Branch Out Summer Bridge Program K-7th Each year, students can access our Sage Oak’s Branch Out summer program. This is a complimentary, self-paced online program featuring daily pre-recorded video lessons aimed at keeping your student’s brain sharp over the summer break. It is not too early to plan for this program in order to use your school funds to purchase the workbooks. Students going into grades K-7th grade will watch short introductory video lessons, play online learning games, and complete workbook pages that review the concepts of the previous grade level and prepare them for the next grade level. The Summer Bridge workbook can be purchased from Carson Dellosa for the grade that the student will be entering next year. The middle school math program consists of short video lessons reviewing pre-algebra and algebra concepts with accompanying practice worksheets. No curriculum is needed for the middle school program.
