9th-12th Grade Cultivate and Create Winner We continue to highlight our winners of the Sage Oak Cultivate and Create event for 9th-12th grade. This week we showcase the visual work of Talitha Dermovsesian. She took a unique approach in creating an animation of her visual piece titled “Healing the Community Through One Brush Stroke at a Time.”
Talitha comments, “In this drawing, I decided to touch on topics such as the restoration of forests, global warming impacted by poor air quality, and the major problem of litter. Using artwork to create an awareness of these current issues will create the ability to create change. Being able to heal my community through art, even if it starts with just one individual, is powerful.” Thank you for your inspiration, Talitha!
