No sign-up necessary. ![]() Sage Oak Science & Engineering Fairs Sage Oak is offering two in-person Science & Engineering Fair opportunities for all interested TK-12th grade students this Friday, April 12th in the Fullerton and Upland areas. Although the sign-up deadline has passed, all students and families are invited to attend as spectators! You can look forward to science fair presentations, STEM activities, and connecting with teachers and other Sage Oak students. Our last Socials of the school year will fittingly take place on the last day of school, Wednesday, June 5th between 10 am-2 pm at a regional location near you. In addition to fun activities, we will also host promotion ceremonies for our Personalized Learning Academy (PLA) Kindergartners, 5th graders, and 8th graders.Sage Oak will provide graduation caps to all promoting kindergartners. Our Events Team is nailing down all the location details and will share specific venue information as soon as possible but take note of the Social areas below. Virtual Learning Academy Promotion & End-of-Year Social Virtual Learning Academy students are welcome to attend but will have their own Virtual Learning Academy Promotions and End-of-the-Year Social on Thursday, May 30th in Rancho Cucamonga. He’ll be here to showcase his Trailer Music Workshop, sharing his expertise composing blockbuster movie trailers like Marvel’s Black Panther and Disney’s A Wrinkle in Time. We’ll explore sound design, composition, and production and at the end, Mr. Daniels will share insights into music careers. The Walk for Kids is an annual community fundraiser that supports the children and families who rely on the life-changing services and programs provided by the Ronald McDonald House.This fun, family-friendly event calls on volunteers, companies, and donors within their local communities to keep families close when they need it the most. We will have Sage Oak teams at the Ventura event on Sunday, April 21st, the Inland Empire (Fontana) event on Sunday, April 28th, and the Orange County (Irvine) event on Saturday, June 1st! Registration is $25 for adults. Children 17 and under are free! All team members (students, families, and staff) are encouraged to meet up prior to the race for some connection time and photo opportunities.
