| September 11, 2024 Dear Sage Oak Community, We have been monitoring the fire activity across Southern California. As of today, The Line Fire continues to actively burn covering 34,729 acres with a 14% containment. Additionally, both the Airport Fire in Orange County and the Bridge Fire in Los Angeles County have grown significantly. The Airport Fire is currently 22,376 acres, and the Bridge Fire is 49,007 acres, each at 0% containment. As a reminder, this Friday, September 13th, the Redlands Back-to-School Social at Brookside Park has been canceled. Unfortunately, with evacuation warnings, mandates, and poor air quality impacting the Murrieta area due to the Airport Fire, we have made the difficult decision to also cancel the Murrieta Back-to-School Social at Los Alamos Hills Sports Park this Friday, September 13th. We are working with our photographer to reschedule back-to-school photos for the Murrieta area, if possible, at a later date for families that would like to participate in a makeup picture day. We will communicate further once we have more information.
