(Release Date: February 26 at 12:00 noon)
This event is for TK/Kinder VLA students and their families only. All students must be accompanied by an adult.
Join your VLA TK/Kinder classmates for an exciting day at the OC Zoo! The OC Zoo is located in the heart of Irvine Regional Park and is home to amazing animals native to the southwestern U.S., including black bears, mountain lions, bald eagles, ocelots, and more. Many of the zoo’s residents are rescues, giving kids a chance to learn about wildlife conservation up close.
🐐 Visit the barnyard to meet (and feed!) friendly goats & sheep—don’t forget your quarters!
🌳 Enjoy a class picnic surrounded by nature—bring your packed lunch or a snack!
🎠 Explore the nearby playground and scenic park trails
After the zoo, feel free to stay and enjoy Irvine Regional Park’s beautiful 500 acres—ride the train, rent a bike, or just relax under the trees!
Please keep in mind that this field trip is a chance for your VLA student to BOND with their fellow grade level classmates. In order to keep the focus on our students, please limit your tickets to one adult per VLA student unless absolutely necessary. You may purchase a maximum of two additional tickets per VLA student if needed.

***Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets.
