Join your TK/Kinder class at Pretend City Children’s Museum! Pretend City designed for children to learn how the world works while engaging their curiosities and imaginations. The Museum is a child-size interconnected city that balances rich educational learning experiences with boundless fun, and where children can try on real-world roles and let their creativity rule.
Our $mart Citizens field trip will be all about financial literacy! Educators will take students through the concepts of earning, spending, saving and donating the money they earn as a working member of society through an interactive lesson! Students will have the opportunity and autonomy to make choices with their hard-earned money! This field trip has a special follow up activity that is sent home with teachers to continue the learning in the classroom! You will also enjoy time on the museum floor to explore, play and pretend!
Please keep in mind that space is extremely limited and this field trip is a chance for your VLA student to BOND with their fellow grade level classmates. In order to keep the focus on our students, please limit your tickets to ONE adult per VLA student unless absolutely necessary. You may purchase a maximum of two additional tickets per VLA student if needed. All siblings ages 1 & up need to purchase a ticket.
