Come spend the day helping to keep Huntington State Beach clean!
This VLA & PLA event is an all-ages beach cleanup perfect for kids and adults to get outside and make a difference. This field trip aligns with 40th anniversary of California Coastal Cleanup Day! Do not miss out on this unique opportunity for all of our programs to come together and serve our community.
Volunteer event participants will go through a short safety orientation, grab supplies and head out onto the sand to look for trash with their fellow Sage Oak classmates and teachers! Let's make the beach a more pleasant and safer place for everyone!
OPTIONAL BUT GREATLY APPRECIATED: If you would like to bring your own supplies and donate them to the beach clean up effort, please be sure that they are zero waste (reusable bags and gloves from home such as buckets, garden gloves, old fabric tote bags, etc.)
