Release Date: December 4 at 12:00 noon) This event is for K-8th grade PLA students and their families. Children younger than Kindergarten grade are not permitted to attend. All students must be accompanied by an adult. Suggested age for this field trip is 3rd-8th grade. Students will immerse themselves in the tradition of Plein Air painting by creating their own landscape. After viewing and discussing the different painting techniques implemented by 19th and 20th century Plein Air painters in California, they will step outside and partake in the century’s long tradition to paint the scene around them. Sage Oak Student Ticket: $18 Tickets can be purchased out of pocket or with Instructional Funds (for Sage Oak students). Purchasing with Instructional Funds: Please verify with your student’s teacher/EA that your student has sufficient instructional funds available for this purchase. We are not able to provide alternative payment options if there are insufficient funds and we are not able to refund any accompanying out-of-pocket ticket purchases. Please read the field trip description carefully. If an accompanying adult ticket is required, be sure to claim an adult ticket. If student/sibling tickets are claimed without accompanying adult tickets, we are not able to provide refunds for canceled student/sibling tickets. NEW INFO: When a field trip sells out, the waitlist will become available the following morning.
Please note that during school field trips and other school-sponsored community events, photos and videos may be taken where students could appear in group settings. While we make every effort to respect media preferences, students may sometimes be captured in the background or within group shots in public spaces. If your child does not have media consent on file, they will not be the main focus of any photo or video. We do not highlight or identify individuals without prior consent. |
