The English Learner Advisory Committee (ELAC) is a group of parents and staff members that meet to advise the leadership team on programs and services relating to English learners. The ELAC is in place at our schools with 21 or more English learners. At this time, we have an ELAC for Sage Oak Charter School.
The Parent Advisory Committee (PAC) is a group of parents or guardians who come together to provide input, advice, and support to our school. The primary purpose of a PAC is to foster communication and collaboration between parents, teachers, administrators, and the community at large. We strive to shape and improve various aspects of Sage Oak’s operations, policies, and programs.
STAC
The Student Advisory Committee (STAC) is a group of Sage Oak students who represent the student body, ensuring that student voices are heard in the decision-making processes of the school. The STAC provides a structured platform for students to voice their opinions and suggestions regarding various aspects of their educational experience so that they are consistent with the Sage Oak’s Mission, Vision, Core Values, and Student Learning Outcomes.
SSC
The School Site Council (SSC) is an elected body of teachers, parents, school support staff, administrators, and students working together to help develop and monitor the School’s Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA).
